COVID-19 Update: Current


  • Always wear your mask and sanitize before and after class.
  • Please follow our Studio Health & Safety Protocols before attending dance.  We will provide waivers for you to sign before your first class begins.  Dance School Protocol
  • Please arrive ten minutes early to your first week of classes to fill out paperwork and make initial payment
  • Please DO NOT arrive early to your classes during the following weeks.  They have been purposely spaced to avoid congestion in the entry ways and to support our social distancing protocols
  • Please arrive dressed for class, no changing areas are available.
  • Please leave school bags, instruments and other items in your vehicle.

Kinetic Energy Alive Dance School Health and Safety Protocol:

  1. All families will be asked to sign a waiver agreeing to follow all safety guidelines. This waiver relieves the studio of any liability and is proof that we complied with the state mandated COVID-19 prevention guidelines and that we have done our part to protect our students and their families.
  2. Only essential personal items that support dance activity for students will be allowed in the studios.  We ask students to PLEASE not bring any book bags, extra clothing, instruments, etc. into the studios.  (for example: the only things a dancer needs is cotton socks for contemporary, indoor sneakers, ballet slippers, a water bottle and a hair tie).  Please leave all other personal items in your car.
  3. Before Entry into building:
    1. All family members and dancers are asked to wear face masks at all times upon leaving their vehicle. (This is subject to change if students are vaccinated, we are following the state and CDC guidelines on this and will update you as soon as we have new information.)
    2. Students are asked to sanitize upon entry and before leaving the studio
    3. Students are asked to please stay home  if they are experiencing any symptoms consistent with COVID-19 or any other symptoms of illness to keep the germs at home.
    4. Outdoor shoes must be removed in the lobby before entrance to the studio.  This helps us prevent the spread of dirt and germs from the outside into our beautiful studio.  We do a lot of work on the floor and clean it well and would like to keep it sanitary and safe for dancers to have contact with. Dancers MUST bring indoor shoes for hip hop. If they do not, they will not be allowed to wear their outdoor shoes in the studio even if they want to wash them off.
    5. Students are required to wear face masks during classes (This is subject to change if students are vaccinated, we are following the state and CDC guidelines on this and will update you as soon as we have new information.  We are still practicing proper physical distancing.)
  4. Students will continue to be required to call and cancel private lessons with 24 hour notice.  Lesson fees will be due for any lessons not cancelled with proper notice.
