- Please arrive ten minutes early to your first week of classes to fill out paperwork and make initial payment
- Please DO NOT arrive early to your classes during the following weeks. They have been purposely spaced to avoid congestion in the entry ways and to support our social distancing protocols
- Please arrive dressed for class, no changing areas are available.
- Always wear your mask and sanitize before and after class.
SPACE LIMITS ON CLASSES:
Spacing limits per class is based on the studio size and will be tracked as we begin to receive registrations for classes and we will make classes “Full” when they have reached our social distancing capacity and can take no further students. I can not urge enough the seriousness we take with our health and safety protocols and we can not make any exceptions for students who are late to sign up and want to squeeze into a class. We love you all and want everyone to dance, but the only way to make that possible is to follow our strict protocols. So if you don’t want to miss out on a class, sign up now, don’t wait till the last minute! We want to accommodate everyone and so that is why we are sending out this info now to give everyone ample time to view the classes and register for the classes they want to attend. Again, first come first serve.
December 12th, 2020: We had a very successful and safe fall session! Everyone who attended our small, distanced classes followed our protocols for health and safety which made us feel confident about continuing classes throughout the fall.
Mask wearing is mandatory. We do temperature checks and have a screening process before students can enter our facility to check if they have had any symptoms of sickness of any kind or been in contact with anyone who has been sick. Sanitizing and handwashing is required before and after classes, and before/upon entering the building.
In early September, we completed many renovations to make opening this fall possible, including more space in studio 3, the opening of a third studio (now studio 1) that is 1,250 square feet which gives us a lot of space to host socially distanced dance classes.
We have implemented a strict protocol for the health and safety of all. (Review this under our health and safety protocol).
Our sanitizing procedures is thorough and consistent to ensure studios are always cleaned before and after used, including sanitizing all door handles, stair rails, and any other surfaces students may touch.
We offer free masks for anyone who has forgotten theirs and have six sanitizing stations set up throughout our building.
We are confident we are doing everything possible to prepare for a safe dance season. Please contact us with any questions and stand-by as we work each day to get closer to a reopening. Thank you for your patience, K.E.A. Dance Team!
